Well, it was a virginity challenge. But it was a good one. *_* Seriously, I just adore Yoruichi, and this is classic fun with two kinds of action and some great character and just...awesome. Ties together neatly. Furrow like a Lioness by Riddering [Yoruichi/Soi Fong] A wonderful series of shorts, all in one post, all Soi Fong and Yoruichi and all in this wonderful somewhat-detached, somewhat-loose-elsewhere somewhat-delicious kind of narrative that I'm not fully sure I can explain. You recognize it when you see it, because this is one of those styles of writing that shafts some things and makes some things gold. It all depends on the author. Really, really lovely. HILLARITY ENSUES. The woman says she can't write humour, but she can. She can, and she does, and she has Orihime dead on with madness and insanity and a -child- who is pure Orihime. Lovelovelove this, sooooo much. Bittersweet by Midnight Crow [Ishida/Orihime] Humour/Angst, touch of romance. Beautiful. As you read it, you -know- what's happening and what will happen, but you have to see things from Ishida's perspective anyway. It's like you become his subconscious or something. Wonderful, and just the right touch of sadness at the end. Chizuru/Tatsuki
Projection by Harukami [Chizuru/Tatsuki] "Sort of Femslashy. By 'sort of' I mean 'very'," she says. Hillarious, very in-character, very fun, very... calm-goofy-stupid moments of Bleach. And Orihime is just -brilliant-. Third Wheel by Harukami [Chizuru/Tatsuki] More hillarious femslash, though this is more...overt, and reminds me of Antique Bakery in a way. If you liked that, you'll probably like this. Just sad enough to suit. Curveballs by Harukami [Chizuru/Tatsuki] Hillarious and SO GOOD. Totally makes fun of Japanese gym class uniforms, among other things while perving out in the best way ever. Funny and fun! Gen, Misc, Etc.
Crossover Cocktail by half_sleeping [Some Doumeki/Watanuki] [Bleach/xxxHOLiC crossover] I don't read crossovers. You -know- I don't. But I have a very few exceptions, but this set of shorts is one of them. Funny, sweet, serious, so -plausible-. Daddy's Little Girl Wants to be a Rock Star by Kilonji [Genish, Karin/Chadish] Did I ever tell you how much I love Chad in Bleach? He's just this great big hulking lump of someone who loves cute things, and he's awesome. And Karin? Karin and Yuzu and...and that whole damn family. Gold. |
