Sailor Moon [Anime/Manga]
[Usagi/Mamoru]

Usagi/Mamoru

Your Secret Admirer by Danika Lareyna [Serena/Darien] [Humour]
"Oh good, an adult book store!" Usagi near-misses her secret admirer at school, and sets out to find out who he is. Too bad she asked her friends for help. Things can only hit the fan from here. And Darien? Poor kid is totally confused.

Signs of Affection by Danika Lareyna [Usagi/Mamoru, Rivals / Friendship / eventual Romance]
100 drabbles, connected in chronology but...sweet, light, sometimes darker, sometimes sad. Very nice, very serious, draws the first season out a looooooong time. (There are 100 chapters! I am at 34 and we only have Mercury.) My favourite chapters? The Neurology text chapter (16) and the Valentine chapter (23). Sneaky.

Coffee Break: 100 Themes Drabbles by Alicia Blade [Usagi/Mamoru, Humour, Romance]
The best part of this? Seriously? The Luna Pen drabbles. FUNNIEST THING EVER.

Operation: Mr. Right by Dreamwriter3 [Serena/Darien]
Don't read this as though it's fanfiction. Pretend they happen to have the same names, and read it as fiction, because it reads like a short story by Meg Cabot. I'm not kidding. It's completely OOC, it's an AU, and it's funny, realistic and unrealistic, and full of UST. The whole point is UST. And I really liked it -- but not as a fanfic within Sailor Moon. She should be writing books, instead.

That Simple Magic by Sunnydaze [Usagi/Mamoru]
So this isn't something I thought I would find myself reading at all, but it completely sucked me in. It's... different. I can't explain anything really without completely ruining it for you, but I'll tell you this-- whatever you're thinking in the first two or three chapters is wrong. It's so much more than just that, and it just gets better and better as it goes along. It's sweet, funny and pulls things I've never seen done in SM before. A classic in the making.

Every Sailor Moon Lovestory by Starsketch007 [Humour, Romance?]
“For the last time, Odango Atama, I am not Batman!”

“Deny it all you want, Bruce.”
...can be over-done at times, but has enough funny cliches in it to keep you going. Every cliche you ever read, all rolled into one horribly disjointed story.

Subject to Change by EightofSwords [Gen most of the time, but also Mamoru/Usagi most of the time.]
You're probably not going to like this at first. The first 15-20 chapters are doing something important, but it will seem like crack or bad writing. Let me assure you that it is neither of those things. The key to this fic is that it develops slowly and carefully and that there is a reason for everything in it. It comes off weirdly, but the further in you get, the more it will make sense, and a lot of the confusion and weirdness will go away and settle into something you'll like better. [info]skyebanshee pointed it out to me, and I only stuck with it because she seemed so into it, and I can say absolutely that it was worth it. It's not done yet, but it's really going somewhere interesting; currently at 30 chapters.

His Grin by EightofSwords [Mamoru/Usagi]
When I hit chapter four, I thought that the pacing in this fic must be off, because there was no way it was complete at six chapters. I was wrong. Not about the length-- it really is only six chapters, but about the pacing. The pacing is perfect. It's in chapters 5 and 6 that you realize why it is paced the way it is, and that actually makes it more realistic. I know, weird, right? But absolutely applicable.

A series of drabbles by kittkat [Mamoru/Usagi]
The main thing to read here is "Liar", though I'm sure some people will really like "For the Love of..." (it wasn't my thing). Liar though is..very cute, nicely done.

Short Skirt and Confessions by kittkat [Mamoru/Usagi]
More drabbles! I spent about three days straight going through drabbles on [info]usako_mamoru, and while there's a lot of junk on there, there are a lot of reallllly good authors, too. Short Skirt is cute, funny, plays some usual tricks in an unusual way. Confessions though is gold. By gold, I mean take a look at the following excerpt:

Lesson 1: “They say that confessions are good for the soul. So ‘fess up.” –Usagi, 14, quoting a Scottish Proverb.

..And that's all you need to know. GOLD.
